Remoria for the bereaved

A lasting place
for every precious
moment

When we lose someone, memories become our most precious possession. But those memories are often scattered: in old photo albums, on different phones or deep in our minds. Remoria makes it easy to bring everything together in one safe, serene place.

How it works

How you create
a lasting place

Setting up a digital memorial is simple.

1

Set up your space in no time

Easily start a personal memorial. Within minutes you have a safe environment where memories come together.

2

Invite your circle

Share the unique link via social media platforms, or use the personal QR code. You can also have this code printed on the memorial card, so friends and family have immediate access.

3

Share, connect and remember

Once your people have joined, everyone can upload their own photos, videos or audio clips. Through the Community chat or by posting a tribute, conversations begin and stories emerge that you may never have heard before.

Everything you get

One place where all the memories come together

Everyone who loved them contributes a piece: photos you had never seen, stories you had not heard, words that stay. This is what happens on a memorial.

Photos, videos & audio

The photos no one had seen from each other

Everyone keeps a box or a phone full of moments the rest of the family never saw. On the memorial, each person adds their own photos, videos and voice recordings β€” and gradually a portrait of a whole life takes shape, told by everyone who was there.

  • Everyone you invite can contribute
  • Videos and voice recordings too
  • Clearly organised into albums

Community chat

Stories that would never have been told

In the private chat, family, friends and former colleagues bring memories back together. The colleague from the workshop, the neighbour from years ago β€” everyone knows a side you had not heard. And every story draws out the next.

  • Fully private β€” only who you invite
  • Simple enough for every age

In remembrance

Words that stay where they belong

Sympathy cards disappear into a box. Here the words get a lasting place: personal messages from everyone who said goodbye, to reread when you need them β€” next month, or ten years from now.

  • A lasting book of condolences
  • Also for those who could not attend the funeral

The photo book

And then you hold it in your hands

When your space is filled, you gather the finest photos and stories into a printed photo book. A tangible keepsake that lives on the coffee table instead of in the cloud β€” for yourself, or as a gift to someone you love.

  1. Select the moments that tell the story best

  2. Personalise the cover, title and layout

  3. Receive it at home , ready to pass on

What does it cost?

Photos you otherwise never would have seen. For €85.

One amount, no subscription that quietly continues. You get four full months β€” plenty of time to invite everyone and gather all the photos and stories, at your own pace.

After that you decide: renew if the place is still alive, or wrap up β€” for example with a photo book as a tangible close.

Questions we hear often

Do I need technical knowledge?

No. Creating a memorial takes a few minutes, and adding photos is no harder than sending a message. We have deliberately made Remoria so simple that everyone can join in.

Can older family members take part too?

Yes β€” that is exactly what Remoria is built for. Guests enter via a simple link or QR code, without complicated registration. Even those who rarely use a computer can view photos and share memories.

Who can see the memorial?

Only the people you invite. The memorial is completely closed: not findable via Google, not visible to outsiders.

Does it cost anything for the people I invite?

No, nothing. Inviting, sharing and reading along is always completely free for family and friends β€” no matter how many people you invite.

Do I keep control over what is posted?

Yes. As administrator you decide who gets access, and you can organise or remove contributions if something is not appropriate. In practice this is rarely needed β€” but control stays with you.

Will I lose my photos when the plan expires?

No. After expiry the memorial is archived, but everything remains stored for months. During that period you can download everything or renew the plan. Nothing ever disappears without you knowing.

Is it too early β€” or too late β€” to create a memorial?

No. Some families start in the week of the funeral so photos come together before the service. Others start months or years later, when there is space for it. Every moment is the right moment.

Can our funeral director arrange this for us?

Yes. Remoria works with funeral directors who set up the memorial for you, so you do not have to worry about it. Ask at your funeral home β€” or create one yourself.
