What is the AI-wallet?
Every memorial has its own AI-wallet with credits. Use them to sharpen old or small photos, colourise black-and-white photos, repair scratches or turn a photo into a moving 3D image. The original is always kept: you can always view and download it.
How many credits do you get?
- Gather together (4 months): 10 credits to try it out.
- Remember together (1 year): 500 credits included.
- Preserve together (3 years): 1000 credits included.
Extend a 4-month memorial to at least 1 year and you get 500 extra credits once.
What does an edit cost?
- Sharpen: 1 credit per photo.
- Colourise: 1 credit per photo.
- Repair scratches: 2 credits per photo.
- 3D effect: 3 credits per photo (up to 25 photos per memorial).
How it works
- Go to Media and select the photos you want to improve.
- Choose Improve.
- Tick what you want: sharpen, colourise, repair or 3D effect. You immediately see the maximum cost in credits and your balance.
- Confirm. You can visit other pages meanwhile, but keep the memorial open until everything is done.
Sometimes the memorial itself suggests which photos could be sharper or which black-and-white photos could be colourised.
Compare before and after
Open an improved photo and choose Compare with original. Drag across the photo to see the original and the new version side by side. Download original always gives you the original photo.
Good to know
- Photos that are already sharp enough are skipped. They cost you no credits.
- If an edit fails, the credits are refunded and you can try again.
- Colourising and repairing are done by AI: colours are an interpretation and missing details may be filled in. That is why the original is always kept.
- With the 3D effect the point of view moves; the photo itself stays still.
- Ordering a photo book? Sharpen soft photos first for a nicer print.
Who can use the AI-wallet?
The memorial’s administrators. If the memorial was created through a funeral home, the funeral home can also improve photos for you with the same wallet.
Adding credits
Out of credits? Go to the memorial’s Settings and choose Add credits:
- 100 credits: €8
- 300 credits: €15
- 500 credits: €20
- 1000 credits: €35
Prices include VAT. Added credits stay valid as long as the memorial is online.
