How do I create a memorial myself?
You create a memorial at remoria.eu. It takes five simple steps:
- Enter the details of the deceased.
- Choose the web address and QR code.
- Become the manager.
- Choose a plan.
- Pay.
As soon as payment is complete, the memorial is ready and you can set it up and share it.
What details about the deceased do I need?
In the first step you enter the full name and date of death of the deceased. The date of birth and a photo are optional to start with. You can always add or change these details later.
What is the web address and how do I choose it?
The web address is the memorial’s personal address, for example name.remoria.eu. Remoria suggests an address based on the name of the deceased, but you can change it. The address needs at least three characters and must still be available; Remoria checks this straight away as you type. The web address comes with a QR code that you can share or print.
What does a memorial cost?
There are three plans, each with a different period. All prices include VAT:
- Gather together: €85, online for 4 months. The ideal time to gather photos, videos and stories together.
- Remember together: €129, online for 1 year. Take the time to look back together on the memories you’ve gathered.
- Preserve together: €239, online for 3 years. A lasting place where memories are kept safely.

What’s the difference between the plans?
The main difference is how long the memorial stays online: 4 months, 1 year or 3 years. The plans also differ in the number of credits in the AI-wallet. With every plan you can invite as many loved ones as you like to share and view memories. Afterwards you can always extend the memorial.
How do I pay?
You pay securely online in the last step. As soon as your payment is processed, the memorial is created and you can get started. There’s nothing to install.
Can a funeral home create the memorial for me?
Yes. Some funeral homes work with Remoria and can create and set up the memorial for you. You can also always create it yourself. Either way, you get the same personal memorial.
